Cover History

Cover types:
1. Early Magazine Covers-I think that the Early Magazine Covers show that they just wanted to get to the point and show you what is going on and as time progressed they started to kind of wanting you to guess what is going on and pull you a little more modern. They started what is now today and tomorrow.

2. The Poster Cover-The Poster Cover magazines varied from magazine to magazine for instance older magazines just had a picture that just had to do with a mood or maybe the seasons and not what was on the inside. Sometimes there were no captions at all and it was just the magazine logo.

3. Pictures Married to Type-Pictures Married to Type magazines have amazing different photos with text just dancing around the photo like a party. It just catches your eye and does not let it go without a fight. The different sizes of font on random places of the magazines makes you want to read them, the text influences the photo.

4. In the Forest of Words-In the Forest of Words magazines the cover is not just about text or the image on it both are out there and eye catching and capture your everything. Photos and words compliment each other so magazines not only look better they sell better.
